I was trying to make up my mind about whether to do a certain thing, and so I got out my animal divination cards, shuffled them, and asked my question. Then I took a card from the center of the pack and it was the Lynx card. I couldn’t see how it related to my question so I assumed it must be a mistake, so I shuffled them again and drew another card, which turned out to be the Lynx card again.

Since I couldn’t see the relevance of the Lynx to my question, I put the cards to one side and didn’t touch them for a few weeks. Next time I got the cards out, I asked if there was something I should be aware of, something I have been ignoring, I shuffled the cards and got the Lynx card again!

I decided three times in a row was too much of a coincidence, so I decided to research the Lynx. I read the description of the Lynx person and it was almost an exact description of my inner nature, the way I behave in the material world. I was blown away by that!

So I am feeling its time to take the next step and see what Great Spirit thinks of this web site. In a way this is the first time I have spoken directly to Wakan Tanka and when I do I can immediately feel the effect, very strongly. Great Spirit says its Ok to do what you are doing, so long as you go deeper. But there is more. I am given specific directions on what I have to do - like go an visit the Hopi's. Humph!

I am sure that’s going to please them - not, and its not going to please me too much either. Of course if it was possible to meet the right people and get to talk about the right things, better still to work with the right energies, it would be worth while, but things like that don’t get easily set up, and I wouldn’t want to go all the way up there and get told they don't want to talk to some stupid American, which is understandable, but I am neither American nor stupid.

It is now opening up to me that there are other layers or depths I hadn’t previously seen. One is that the Animal Totems are specific powers or energies, and you can explore these energies and feel their effects. For example when I looked at Dolphin, I felt like I was underwater. Lynx, my own Totem lifts my spirits and makes me feel very powerful, but I have to admit Cougar is my favorite. The Energy is so nice, like lying on a warm furry cat!

I decided to find out if there is any Messengers trying to contact me, So I use the cards and I get that I have a Frog Messenger.

Ok so I have to purify my body - well I am eating more roughage. Maybe I better vacuum the floor. So then at random I draw two more cards. I have Raven telling me to own my power ( which I know I have a lot of but don't use much because I don't want to interfere in other peoples lives, and dragonfly telling me you know who you really are, yes well I do and that brings me back to the Raven. I never realized before now how those two powers seem to work together, well in my situation.
